Abbreviations:

k= knit = recht breien

p= purl= averechts breien

s= slip as if to knit= 1 recht afhalen

s2kp= slip 2 together as if to knit, knit 1, pass the 2 slipped stitches over as 1= haal 2 steken tegelijk recht af, brei 1 steek en haal de twee afgehaalde steken hier tegelijk overheen.

k2tog= knit 2 together= 2 steken samenbreien

skp= slip 1 stitch, knit 1, pass slipped stitch over.= haal 1 steek af, brei 1 steek en haal de afgehaalde steek hier over.

Cast on 21 stitches

Row 1: k10 p1, k9, p1.

Change of color

*Row 2: s1, k8, s2kp, k8, p1

Row 3: s1, k8, p1, k8, p1.

Change of color*

repeat between *and * till 1 stitch left.

Pick up 11 stitches and make 10 stitches (=21 st.)

Knit row 1, change of color and knit between * and * till 1 stich left.

Repeat the above untill you have 4 squares

Pick up 11 stitches as shown, make 9 stitches, pick up 1 stitch from the first square

Knit row 1, change of color

**Knit row 2 but slip the last stitch. Pick up 1 stitch from the first square as if to purl, pass the slipped stitch over. Knit row 3, change of color.**

Repeat between ** and ** untill 1 stitch left.

Pick up 49 stitches with dpd (rondbreinaald of sokkennaalden)

Round 1: knit with color 1

Round 2: knit with color 2

Round 3: purl with color 2

Round 4: knit with color 1

Round 5: 5x (k1, k2tog, k4, skp, k1)

Round 6: knit

Round 7: 5x (k1, k2tog, k2, skp, k1)

Round 8: knit

Round 9: 5x ( k1, k2tog, skp, k1)

Round 10: knit

Round 11: k2tog, skp

Round 12: knit

Cut the thread and sew it with a needle throw the remaining stitches. Crochet with this thread a chain to make a hanging loop.

Weave in ends

Repeat on the other site of the ball. In round 8: insert stuffing inside the ball.

After round 12 you can knit a few rounds with the 10 stitches left.
